i know King for about 4 years. we're good friends. we talked and share our thoughts about many things but we did not talk about private or personal stuffs. last night i just decided that i better leave King without my couriousity and silly talk and questions anymore.

this morning my brother said that bitter people keep details in their mind. they keep add more and more details, more and more hatred .. until one day, he/she cannot bear more and everything will blast with no mercy. (ahh.. sorry about my bad english, i hope you know what i mean). the problem is, the explosion will affect innocent people around them.

King, why not take it easy and let it go? all the past, all the bad memories, forgive the one who treat you badly. dont make your heart get bitter and bitter. release yourself and be free. i will miss our lunch time chat .. and more than that. faceless, thoughtless, brainless, souless, mindless King .. where could i find the king? i wish you all the best.

settled down

hunting a place to rent was not too easy to do. we need to deal with the high price also half price for the property agent. also a lot of parameters like facility, owner, location, environment, etc. i'd like to find a place near to my office in ang mo kio, so i think serangoon north or hougang would be perfect.

firstly we visit an hdb apartement in hougang. it took a long time to find the block. its a very quiet place. too quiet for me. the room itself is okie dokie. the price is ok too. clean, attached bathroom, spacious, tv and wardrobe included. not too far from ang mo kio, only about 7 minutes by bus. we would live with the owner, a chinese family with 2 kids and an aunty.

in the same night we cannot find the second place in serangoon after we walk around and around serangoon mrt station. the block should be 'near mrt station' as the agent told us but we were too tired. so we back home (read: guesthouse). hmmm.. emi's advice should be considered : "ci bet .. beli map dong, liat map!" (means : "sis bet .. buy a map please, read the map!"). hahahaha....

the next day emi told me about a place in lavender, the adv said :"near lavender mrt". since i still dont have map, that evening we tried to read local map provided in the exit way of mrt station. hahahha.. emi, its not too easy reading a map, you know :p but however we find the place. its a cooool place :D the owner would not live in the flat, clean, wood floor, partially black painted wall with 2 tiny clinging lamps, tv and wardrobe included, cooking is allowed, will live with other 4 tenants :) but we missed the room since 2 filipino girls came earlier than us and took the room. sad .. sad .. sad .. but its ok, its quite far from my office. it took 40-50 minutes away by bus.

for jakarta citizen, being 1 hour away from home to office is common. for me, i would be thankful if i can get home in only 1 hour. but here .. more than 20 minutes classified as far. my friend emi even wishes for a 5 minutes away location :D

the next place we came was a landed property in ang mo kio, not an hdb apartement or condominium. i never dream that i will rent a room in a house because a landed property here is very very expensive. but its not a dream at all. its a big spacious common room in second floor, 3x6 meters, tv, refrigerator, a/c, wardrobe, 2 desk + 1 chair, queen size bed included and everything i mentioned is brand new! they just repainting the wall, the bath room is clean. it has wooden floor and big window. the place is quiet, near to bus stop, about 25 minutes to my office. cooking allowed and the owner will not stay with us. it's also has a reasonable price.

saturday morning we confirmed the agent that we will take the room and will move there saturday evening :) .. yipppyyyy ...... finally we got a permanent place to stay. :)

from guesthouse to guesthouse

we planned to stay in a guesthouse before we can find a permanent place to stay. so i booked online a guesthouse, 100 meters from aljunied mrt (great-wow location i can say) for the first 3 nights. sky orchid backpackers hostel is a nice place to stay :D comfortable, clean and modern toilets and furnished with new furnitures. if in 3 first day i cannot a place then i would extend.

we arrived in saturday evening feb 16. we spent sunday for relax, church then tried to locate my new office because the next day i need to go to the office to collect documents for my employment pass.

monday came, we planned to get my ep and then would look for places we about to rent. but as i reached office, they asked me to start working! my manager was waiting for me and kept asking to the hr person why did not i show up :D then the plan changed :p i would work day time and we would hunting places to rent after office hour.

monday night i talked to erick, the sky orchids hostel's staff to extend our room but he said that we should do it online. so i grab my brother's computer and get online. what a pity .. the hostel were fully booked until feb 23, no room at all for us for the next 4 days. waaaaaaaaaaaaakssssss..... then where would we stay ??

so that monday night we looked for best price, best location, best place we could find. we decided to stay in farrer park guesthouse. its couple of steps to the mustafa shopping centre, the 24 hour, best price shopping centre. so we booked farrer park guest house for the next 3 days.

the farrer park is another nice place to stay. we hunted indians and pakistans food everynight around the place. we also explore the mustafa until midnight. but sky orchids is much much better place, so we booked online for next 7 days in sky orchids start in feb 23.

hmmm.. and where to stay in feb 22? well .. then we booked online (again) the frankel guesthouse, 200meters away from kembangan mrt. we stayed in frankel hostel before so we knew how the place is.

you might questioning about our luggage :p we left our 2 big luggages in eric's place without any charges (it should be $3/night)! we 'travel' along the guesthouses with some necessary stuffs.

praise the Lord, we finally find a place to stay before feb 23 so all we need to do was cancelled the booking in sky orchids :) and we ended our journey from guesthouse to guesthouse :)

get lost

we loooooosssssttt...
hahahaha everynight we get lost (my youngest brother and i). we tried to find some places with a "new smart way" : try to read local map everytime we get off from mrt. we tried to do our best but everynight we get lost :D it was when we tried to locate my new office in sunday afternoon. it was when we walked down through the blocks to find a hdb flat in hougang and serangoon because we had appointments with properties agents to view rooms we are about to rent. it was when we tried to find our way back from lavender (where i saw a beautiful room (wood floor, black wall with 2 cute hanged tine lamps, clean toilet, no landlord, free cook) to our guesthouse in farrer park. we also ever missed a bus shelter we need to get off hahaha. it was on our way to frankel guesthouse. also we took half hour to get to suntec mall from mom(ministry of man power) when it shoud be reached in less than 15 minutes. wakakakakakakaka>

my first day in venture

this is my first day in venture.

actually i went to the office just to collect my documents to proceed my employee pass. but i just found that my manager has waiting for me to start my working day today.

waaakssssssssss ........ how come??

i planned to find a place to stay today after i finished with my e-pass. so all the plans was changed. we met mr han, the it dept manager then meet my new colleagues and find my seat in room 03-03, building 5000. i got a brand new hp laptop and all were set for me :) hoho ... what a happy day! :)

it team had a chinese new year lunch today so i joint them for lunch .. (costs 10 bucks ..hehehehe ). the interesting part of the lunch was the new year mountain :) its kind of jelly fish mountain in cool colors. with salmon slices and the tiny orange sauce, fried dumpling and many other things i dont know how to call. everytime the waiters add the stuffs to the mountain on the plate and saying something in chinese. its kind of a new year prayer and wishes. then everybody hold their chopsticks .. and mix and pour out all things on the plate happily. wishing for a good and prosperous new year to come.

btw i got a very kind of manager, mr Wong Huan Leong who is full of smile, humble and kindness :)

shoes must buy

i still have 3 free days left before my flight day. so i went with my mom to buy her shoes. its not too easy for my mom to find a comfortable and safe shoes, so i spare that day only for my mom to find her shoes in ta mall. then she got a red flat shoes, comfort, light, and safe enough for her. well .. mission accomplished :D

then as we still have some hours left, it was not all my fault if then i tried to find mine :p hehehe i bought a pair of nine west shoes :D:D:D its a pair of high heel shoes, black, shiny pump shoes :D i love them :D

my last day

monday, feb 11
tuesday feb 12 was my last day in indofood. but my boss told me in monday evening that we will go to pepsi factory in cikampek tomorrow (tuesday) at 09.00am.
geeezzz... my plan were have lunch with development friends, clean up my desk, and going home on time in my last day in indofood. so all were cancelled. i need to do clean up that monday evening, and cancel all plans for tuesday. i left office at 8.00pm after do all the clean up, went to harvest cake shop in menteng to order farewell chocolate cakes tomorrow then heading home.

tuesday, feb 12
we left office for pepsi cikampek at 09.15. and had lunch with my navision team in boboko -indonesian cuisine. then we left cikampek at 15.15. i reached office at 18.00 and most of my colleagues were left! so i could not say good bye to them :( even we missed our lunch, i hoped that i can say good bye to all of them .. but my hope were also gone. especially for my development team : wawan, lusi, eko, hendra, mang endang. i will miss you all guys!

its a surprised for me because my former boss who's living in saudi arabian called me and congratulated me. he said that he's happy because i have found a 'better' job. hahaha ... well mr. ano, indofood will always be a good place to grow but sometimes we need to expand our own horizon and find our dreams ..

saturday, things to do today

today's saturday. there's a lot of things i need today. either put pictures on my blog or find a removable harddisk for my data backup.

i wrote a lot when i was in semarang since things allowed me to do that :p hehehe .. so now i need to update the blog with pictures :) so it will be a cute - nice blog :) also need to proceed and refine the whole collection of pictures taken by me during 2007 (and 2008) and upload the best of the collection to my online gallery. ah... if i have time i also want to upload some of the best pics to www.fotografer.net :)

other things i need to do are start packing for my relocation next week. also need to do data back up from my current pc at home and my laptop (the laptop belongs to current company) to a removable hard disk. also need to book flight online for next weekend. also need to book a guesthouse online for 2-3 days before i can get a flat to stay. also need to cover my new books i bought last week with plastic cover. i love clean and neat books. i also need to confirm telkom, my internet provider because they still not activate my home internet connection yet.

whew .. a lot of things to do ..

why chatting is interesting?

i found many things in chatting online. learnt many things also. that world not always clean and honest. that nice nick names could not always be trusted. that there are some sincere people among those jurk and bad people in chat. learnt how to write unproper english and find new vocabs and terms. learnt how the people live in the other part of the world. learnt how to become more patient and tolerance toward others. learn from the stranger how they live, culture and how they face their life and how they fix the problems.

ever heard about girls who want money from their chat mates? or .. ever heard guys who always act crazy? or you might find a vice president of a security company in hongkong, a humble, honest, busy and smart guy who send you a postcard from his typical wet country of ireland? or you might find another guy, an agency leader who always enjoy working and analysis, and what's in his mind is always his business, sales, goals and quota, either day or night, nothing else, who always has wise solution for every problem. or you might find a scientist who work as english teacher and teach you many things about chinese people and culture, who feel that he is a chinese (who) trapped in a white man body.


but how do you believe your feeling on the net?

a wise lesson i got is : do not rely too much on the net friends. it is good to live in a fantasy world (read : net) in the security of anonymity, and long distance and convenience. feel how free you can express yourself and be yourself. share about everything you want to and exchange ideas with some strangers.

as two souls keep communicate with each other, feeling may grow, liking may grow. but the chance of success is too slim. it is a fantasy world. also ldr (long distance relationship) is dangerous and impractical. chances of success is rather slim and be down to earth. do show care and concern for every body but no feelings. if you find someone interesting and care for you, it is normal but some people may react differently. they may interpret it as feelings .. for him or her ..

one thing you must remember is not to believe your feeling on the net. because all those feeling were fake and unreal .. until you meet him/her and use your 5 senses to proof that your feeling is real :)

so in the mean time, just be friends and nothing feeling attached :)
