spore version of bakwan

indo called it as "bakwan"

they called it as fried veggy or something (i forgot the exact name). made of sprout, carrot, cabbage, flour and spices. i found this spore version of bakwan for $1.5 each (about rp 10.000) when in jakarta you can find street vendors sell it for about rp 500/piece. whoaaaahahahahaha ....

the taste were good and nice, just same taste to our "bakwan" :) they add a piece of crab cake or a prawn or anchovies. the prawn one just as sama as our "bakwan udang".

i call her dunkdunk.

i always become speechless if i think of her. she's a chubby cute girl i met in indf. kind of smaaaaart, funny, friendly, super cuek girl. she also the most straight forward girl i ever met. good command in english (excellent!!). she said to me (about 6 months ago) that she never been in love before and she really wants to be in love. really amazing girl.

time changes everything. tonight she said that now she applied blush on(!) on her cheek. wow .. what a progresss i've been missed. i just wonder if now she wears skirt and high heels :)

lemon and i

this picture was a slice of lemon on the bottom of my lemon tea and some pieces of ice blocks left.

i met my good friend last night. it was unexpected because we did not meant to meet. so she bought me a glass of iced lemon tea and we shared about the day. yea, many things happened unexpectedly. unpredictable. sometimes even unwanted.

yellow. so fresh. cold. nice. great. simple. deep .. deep in my squared glass.

job 37:10 says :

it takes 25 minutes by bus from my "home" to office for about 6 km distance. buses here runs rather slow. hmmm... ppd or metro mini in jakarta will takes less than 10 minutes to reach that place. hahahaha...

there's only a captain for each bus. no conductor or a guy who will offer you to get on or get off the bus. you can expect they come in the right time as scheduled. yesterday i accompany miss ruili for her bus, the schedule is 5.44am in the morning and we did not have to wait there so long because it came 5.45am. this country has very well manage systems for almost everything :)

building 5000

it reminds me to my high school building, as known as sman 68 salemba, jakarta :p

my current company building really reminds me to my senior high school building. it has "L" shape, kind of old building. so dont try to compare it with the ariobimo central or even sudirman plaza :p they just like heaven and earth. the building consists of 5 floors and has 2 access : manual (stairs) and lifts (2 big lifts for barang (hmmm.. whats "barang" in english?) and 1 lift for passengers).

the building itself is very tough. last time i saw an unloading process of a huge machine from a container and they lift it to the 3rd floor. the first day i were there, i felt my floor and desk trembled. i said to my colleague: "can you feel that?". "feel what?". i said: "earthquake!". my colleague just smiled. later on i heard a strange sound came from our next room, or another time shredding sound or repairing machine from nowhere, or undefined machine crowds. building 5000 (and other buildings in this industrial park) not only for offices, it also for workshops, machines etc. thats why they made it very tough and ready for "super imposed load".

my favorite place of the building is a corner in 3rd floor, near the wash rooms, which is painted with orange and green. i like the colors, also when you can see the green grass and the tree, just across the street downthere, it reminds me to a peaceful heart of a good friend.

2 rooms share 1 bathroom.

good. then who of us will clean the bathroom? for me, i dont like dirty ones. so even i never tell the others (tenants), i said to myself that i will clean it happily, no force, honesty. lucky me because the tenants from other room are neat enough. they went home late everyday. and sometimes they even do not went home at night. they are a busy couple seems to me. it means that i am the only one who use that bathroom :D what i dont like is the guy smokes during his time in the bathroom so sometimes you can find the ash on the toilet or the basin and you can smell the smoke :(. so far .. its still tolerable for me.

okie, cleaning time! i bought some cleaning stuffs last weekend including yellow gloves (with lemon smell to anticipate bad smell might comes from the cleaner liquid). i tried to find porcelain cleaner like porstex i used to use in indo but cannot find one. so i choose magiclean.

guess what .. magiclean smell nice, also does not irritate my skin or make it itchy :) so i enjoy spraying and brushing. i also like the smell of the gloves! hahaha .. i really like the fresh lemon came from my gloves. also the magiclean give the lemon sensation. the bad things is porstex works many many times better than magiclean works. hmmm... bad bad bad since i need to brush harder :p hehehehe

cold and hot, under the weather

today i feel not too well.

maybe its because i could not sleep last night. why i could not sleep .. its because i felt not well all evening. hmmm.. what a circle. since i felt weak, headache and tired, i went to sleep early. i took 2 pieces of antangin (to get off the angin) and a paramex (to ease my headache). i was too tired for a "kerokan" or what they called as "kua sa", also last saturday i just "kua sa" my self and i still can see the marks. so i just went to sleep at 9pm, its too early for a ppiglet.

i woke up at 12.47am, felt much better but still got light headache. i saw uncle sam online so i asked him if he had time for some rr (kinaxis rapid response). the answer was YES! wow .. what a very kind guy. so we discuss of some rr issues and i got much from him. he get off at 1.40am.

hmm... what to do next because i still could not sleep. so i wrote something about my good friend. also prepare some rr data cleansing and sent out the emails to some users. also tried to do rr backup (but it failed because i forgot if i shut down my pc the process would be terminated - because the system make a copy to server by using mapping directory which is mapped as my computer's directory. waaaaksss... stupid me). then i tried to sleep. but i woke up every less than an hour.

today i had hot fish soup as my lunch. i wished that the soup will makes me feel better. after that ruili asked us to buy ice cream. i just dont know what to do with my not-well body .. so i bought a piece of red bean ice cream. if my body got a loudspeaker (instead my of mouth -which is in mute mode by me since this morning), i believe it will shout out loud with undefined words. only heaven knows ..

she came from shanghai, took her master in france, left her boy friend there and here she is ..

her employee number is 8935 when mine is 8936. she works next door, room #03-02 when mine is #03-03. we signed the company offer letter in the same day. "destiny" or "yuen"(hahaha who believe in destiny) allow us to meet :p

i asked her to teach me mandarin, she said ok but we never came to a real mandarin lesson. so bad.

how do you feel if someone feels that you're not important for him/her?

yea, everybody has their own urgency and need to decide how urgent and important a thing for them. the keyword is "important". i just feel sad if someone think that im not important. always there's something else that felt more important than me.

not my aim to point somebody here. just want to share that being an unimportant person is sad. being unrecognized and unimportant might be hurt, its makes us feel lost in a crowd. God, help me to treat them nicely and important in my life. because being treat as unimportant just give me a not nice feeling.

library

im sitting in a reading room in national library (bras basah).

the building is quite big. white. see through building with big pieces of glass as the wall. about 15 floors. cold and quiet. a LOT LOT of books categorized as they should. i cannot describe all because its my first time to this library. many people here, either young - college students or old ones. the library has free interenet connection but we have no idea why my bro's laptop could not connected to the wireless connection. so i need to activate my 3g connection (waaksss.. .. it should be freeeeee .. )

in front of me theres a 50es lady. she's been there for an hour, reading a book purple pocket book, the title is "..of mind". she received a call and she tells where she is "im in reading table". then came an old man, as old as she is. she shows him the book happily and they both went. another girls sitting beside me were art/design students. they discuss softly about the design they are making in their laptops. one of them do the design, and the other one holding an art reference book and sometimes writing.

things i'd like to do in a library were not to browse programming or it stuffs. its boring! hehehe. i prefer to crafts book or photography or things like that. last time i found books about making candles. and i will find later on .. about paper making, making ceramics/pots, editing in photoshop, etc, and many more about crafts :)

its free to enjoy all the books here. or explore the cyber world full of knowledge. or spend the whole day reading. or enjoy the quietness. of course membership will give you much more. but being in the world of knowledge is tempting :p

2 chronicles 1:11-12 says :

lanting

i like this kind of snack very much.

its an old style and traditional snack. i knew it since i was a little kid. as far as i know lanting is originally came from central part of java island. its made of tapioka flour, cripsy with spicy flavour. later on i found lanting with cheese, sweet-hot, corn or even barbeque flavor, but my favorite one will always garlic flavor.

before i came here i was in semarang for about 3 weeks and i brought home a lot package of lanting. i also bring along with me a package of lanting here. hmmm.. alas the lanting last very soon even i eat it only a little everytime i wanted (the problem is .. i want it most of the time hahaha).

oh.. my lanting is almost finish. yesterday i meet mas totok online, he is my old college friend. i told him that i would miss my lanting because now its only a few pieces left. and guess what??

mas totok : hei, give your home address, i will send you some lanting soon. what else do you want? geplak (geplak is another traditional food from jogja city, made from young coconut, taste very sweet and comes in colors)?
me : are you sure?
mas totok : im serious. a big brother should be very kind to his little sister
me : waaa.. you're so niceeeeeee...

so .. im waiting here for my coming lanting :) i will let you know if i already got the package. hahaha

win win solution for us

many friends asked me about what my assignment in the new company.

i came with development background, and the last one year i joined with logistic team as functional. i did development with vb, vba, abap/4 for both sap and apo, c/al certified developer (hahaha..) for ms. navision and used crystal report as reporting tools.

even i know about “many” things, seems that i should not stop here. here they assign me as kinaxis rapid response, sap-pp and sharepoint functional instead of a developer. hmmm.. want to know whats kinaxis rapid response and sharepoint? then kindly search them through google .. hehehe im too lazy to explain it here.

why? why not being a developer? why not keep my track in development area? ah.. you can ask my bosses since i have more than one boss, especially ask the Big Boss. but for me its not a problem at all :). my previous boss DaY knows that i get bored easily and fastly. in the other hand i always enjoy new things and have enough curiousity to find more and more. just wonder if Huan Leong knows (about my getting bored and my couriousity). btw my fake bro said that i have good appetite and digest everything well. hahahaha.. so it’s a win win solution for all of us :)

before i left some friends gave me a set of pictures of their own picture :) narsis yah dia org hahaha .. but it really ok. i really do appreciate the gift :) when someone give you something, it means that they want you to keep them in your heart. they want you to remember them anytime you look at the gift. so sweet ah?

local rujak

as a rujak's lover, i love this kind of rujak. its kind of hot, sweet, sour side dish, made from fresh fruit or vegetables. here i can find local rujak. taste good and frsh. its consists of baked tofu and baked "ca kwe", tauge, cucumber, pineapple, bangkuang with spicy peanut sauce. different from indonesian rujak' sauce, here they put sliced green tiny orange, and combrang (kind of sweet flower) beside chopped peanut, palm sugar and chilli which is common in indonesian's rujak :).

ps. rujak is fresh fruit/vegetable salad with sour-hot-sweet sauce.
