nature + art

i always appreciate art.

even if i could not always create the art, i would always appreciate the art itself. sometimes i tried to shoot something nice, cute and beautiful but i did not shoot it properly so the result might not good. hehehe sometimes i just mess up the art or loose the moment :p

so i would really happy if the chance and me are matched (which is not always happened) :p one of my "model" is miss ruili. the other is miss amel (i took many many pictures of her while we spent some times in pandaan and i like some of them). will post some of her pictures later. thanks girls!

i go bishan

singlish is funny

singlish or singaporean english is broken english you can find in s'pore. i dont say that it is bad but what im trying to say here is that being in a place / environment for a while, you can feel that it will influence you soon or later. im not good in english grammar but im trying to keep in the track, using "proper" english :p

yesterday we were in a bus stop. there were alex, yong qiang and me. we know each other where we live. that day i told alex that i had an appointment in bishan. for alex, he can take any bus going home.

after checking out the bus direction board, i said to alex : "88 will go directly to bishan"
yong qiang to alex : "you go bishan?"
alex : "no, i go ang mo kio"
me : "yea, he go ang mo kio. i go bishan"

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaksssss....... im killing my english. hahahahha ...

malacca : a short vacation

we made a short trip to mallaca this may 3-4.

day 1
reached larkin station in johor bahru at 9.45am and buy malacca bus ticket for 10am. arrived malacca about 1.30pm. we tried to buy ticket back to singapore for tomorrow but it was sold out. need to try our luck tomorrow/sunday morning for ticket.

we enjoy our evening in malacca, started with take a breath in a "food court" in front of the big ship, visit the red christ church and the big clock, finding a hotel to stay, get fresh shower :D

after shower we walk to the tower where we can see the "whole" malacca (the straits, the church and its sites), and then try seafood in kampung portugis where we met a new friend and a local guy who cooked great seafood for us. the local guy even send us back to the china town (the place of our hotel) with his car since the bus we took to kampung portugis was the last bus operated that night! whew .. the driver drop us in china town and we continue our night with the "pasar malam" that was held along the way to our hotel.

day 2
sunday morning we went to the malaka sentral station for ticket after join sunday service in christ church (the famous red church in malacca) and got ones :p if not ... then we need to stay longer there :( next plan was tasted the famous steam chicken with rice balls behind the odbc bank. then visit the baba and nyonya museum. then continue with stadhuyst the museum where i can find the cheng ho admiral statue -just as same as the one i found in semarang sentral java, the church of st. paul which is only a four walls with no roof, and sultan of malacca palace.
the day was short, we need to reach sentral malaka station before 6.pm

i promise, later on i will be back to malacca again .. :)

its was hot in orchard

its was hot.

for these last 1-2 weeks singapore weather was very hot. no rain and the sun shines sooo bright. too bright perhaps. for me, no warm shower since its too hot. a/c also works all the time when i were at home.

i had an appointment with eka for a die die must try stuff, chicken rice in china town :). he said that he will be waiting in taka, near the old chang kee. as i left the coolness of the somerset station i can feel the hot air bite me.

many people enjoy their shopping day, including the hot air. a girl with some shopping bags were standing there, waiting for the traffice light to allow her to cross the narrow street. a boy with his hat walking with his earphone and ipod. an old lady walked very slowly with her old partner. everyone is under the sun and creates their own shadow with certain degree.

ecclesiastes 6:12 says :
for who knows what is good for a man in life, during the few and meaningless days he passes through like a shadow? who can tell him what will happen under the sun after he is gone?
